Front End Loader Training School Compliancy

This training program is registered and accredited by the Construction Education Training Authority (CETA) in accordance with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) unit standard 262747: Operate a Front End Loader.

All learners that are at our Front End Loader training school receive accredited certificates provided that the entry requirements have been met, and the learner is found competent to operate a front end loader truck, the candidate will receive a certificate of competence that is valid life-long, except where it is the policy of the company to have the operator refreshed every two years.
In addition to being competent to operate a Front end Loader truck, candidate operators who have undertaken the necessary notional hours, and provided enrolment procedures have been adhered to, will receive 10 credits towards the national certificate in construction plant operations, as well as a statement of results.

Introduction to front end loader operations

We explain why you need to be a professional operator, identify who is considered to be professional drivers, we explain what Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) a front end loader operator may be required to use and who is responsible for which aspects of PPE and the care thereof.

Front end loader familiarisation

We identify types of front end loaders; explain what they may be used for and what type of vehicles or equipment a front end loader may be required to load.

Front end loader components

We explain why operators must know the different components of the machine, identify them and explain what the function of each one is and how to check that it is serviceable.
